Matlapa Lodge has nine standalone chalets which are well spaced in a garden with 70 species of indigenous trees, that without saying attracts a wide selection of birds. Whether you wish to escape the city, have a romantic break away or indulge in what nature had to offer, Matlapa fulfils the promise.
Each chalet has its own private garden with outside shower. Inside you'll find a fireplace where you can warm your feet in winter and we take pride in making sure each chalet looks unique and cosy.
The lodge has a beautiful swimming pool that looks out over the quaint town of Magaliesburg. Inside the dinning room and lounge area you can enjoy a complementary breakfast or just relax and watch your favourite game on TV.
In the surrounding area you can find a selection of restaurants, horse riding, hiking and fun little shops. You can also visit the mine, go candle dipping or discover the cradle of humankind. Maropeng is less than 15Km from the lodge and is a lovely day trip.
